The IRS will start accepting returns on Feb. 12, a few weeks later than normal.
The agency has revised its forms and instructions to account for changes in the multiple stimulus laws, including the most recent one, enacted in late December.
But it still needs more time to update its computer systems to reflect the changes.
You can actually file returns before that date with tax software companies.
But the returns won’t be submitted to the Revenue Service until February 12, 2021.
